You can apply on-line at the following site: www.smu.ca/namedawards Forms are also available at the Financial Aid & Awards Office (4th Floor, Student Centre). Applications are due May 1, 2011. There are over 200 awards available.

On November 25th at 7pm -9pm in Loyola 290 the SMU Women's Centre will host a Discussion Panel on Sex Workers rights, policies, recent legal reforms and what they would mean for sex workers and the community. Dispelling myths and getting the facts on sex work, legalities, risk, rights and the law.

Saint Mary's Atlantic Centre is currently looking for volunteers for their mentoring program this summer. The program is designed to match a mature, caring and reliable student with another student who is living with a disability, to assist them in their participation in university life.

A community celebration marking the team’s success will be held Thursday at 5 PM at the Courtside Lounge at The Tower. Anyone in the Saint Mary's community is invited to drop by to offer good wishes.
