Society Summit 2009

Calling all Societies! The annual Society Summit is scheduled for Friday, September 25,2009 and will be held in Burke Theatre A and begin at 11 :30am. This Society Summit is mandatory for all societies to attend and those societies that do not attend may not be eligible for ratification by the SMUSA Board of Directors.

Societies have a number of resources to support their operations on campus. The following are some of the services available for you:

Liability Insurance:

Society Bank Accounts

in

All societies must have their own, independent, bank account and use the same financial institution as SMUSA which is currently RBC located on the corner of Spring Garden and Summer Street. Each account must have at least two signing authorities and they both must be required to sign all transactions.

Society Room Bookings

in

Societies are also entitled to free room and table bookings on campus. Societies must complete a one-time-only application at the beginning of each year.
