ANSSA

The Alliance of Nova Scotia Associations is the provincial student advocacy group of which SMUSA is a member. It advocates on behalf of students in Nova Scotia. ANSSA is a non-partisan group that strives to ensure that the province’s post-secondary education system is built upon the principles of accessibility, affordability, innovation, mobility, and quality.

In the upcoming year ANSSA will be focusing on lobbying the government to conduct a comprehensive review of Post Secondary Education. ANSSA will continue to encourage all parties to implement ANSSA’s policy recommendations that will make our higher education system stronger, accessible and more affordable
