All societies, residence floors, staff, faculty and individuals are encouraged to enter a team, grow their best Mo (moustache), raise some money for prostate cancer research, win prizes, and of course, have a good time!
GETTING STARTED: go to http://ca.movember.com and sign up, you can create or join a team or sign up as an individual. Once you're signed up, you or your team can join the Saint Mary's University Network. Then, grow a mo' and be sure to show.. it off with pictures online!
Every individual that raises $100+ will be able to redeem a ticket to Movember.com’s Gala Parte’ happening on Movember 26th as well (tickets are also available for purchase) at the Waterfront Warehouse on Lower Water Street. There are a limited number of these tickets available, so you must first raise the money (pledged online), and then redeem your free ticket. There are additional prizes for the best fundraisers in the country.
Start a team or sign up as an individual and then join the Saint Mary's University network!
GROW A MO’: the rules specify that your mo’ cannot be connected to your sideburns or underneath your chin. Otherwise, be creative!
COLLECT DO’(NATIONS): As mentioned above, you can collect donations online or in various events (we’ve got some suggestions we’ll be sharing shortly).
SHOW YOUR MO’: On Tuesday, Movember 29th, we’re having a Mo’ Party in the Gorsebrook, trivia, music, prizes, and Mo's! We will be awarding the biggest on-campus collectors, best groups and best (and worst?) Mo’s on campus. And of course the music will be pumping!
