Dear Students,

As your Vice President of University Affairs I am your voice both inside and outside the university; representing you to our university community on all matters that are not academically related. This includes a seat on the University Board of Governors as well as the student seat on many of the university committees that are determining where and how Saint Mary’s will position itself for the future.

I am your representative to our external advocacy groups: The Alliance of Nova Scotia Student Associations (ANSSA) and the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA). These groups advocate for accessible, affordable and high quality Post-Secondary Education. They achieve this goal through policy research and government lobbying by bringing together member schools from across the province and the country to represent the student voice at the table.
