The SMUSA Charter Day Awards is an annual awards show created to recognize members of the SMU community who are making a difference on campus and beyond.

Who is eligible for an award?

Whether you’re a student, staff, or faculty at Saint Mary’s University, anyone at SMU is eligible for an award! If you know someone who is making a positive impact on campus or in the community, you can nominate them for an award here.

Deadline for nominations is Sunday, March 14th, 2021!


How do I nominate someone for an award?

Maybe you want to nominate a friend for ‘Freshman of the Year’ or your favourite professor for the Teaching Excellence Award – either way, there are many awards available, so be sure to check out the detailed list of awards here!

To nominate someone (or yourself) for an award, you can fill out the form here. If you wish to nominate multiple people, please fill out separate entries for each person.
