Arranging a Tutoring Session

It is the responsibility of the student to arrange sessions with tutors and agree upon tutoring rates. Tutoring is a contract between the student and their tutor.

The payment arrangement is the responsibility of the involved parties and does not involve Saint Mary’s University or the Saint Mary’s University’s Students’ Association (SMUSA).

How Much Does a Tutor Cost?

Tutoring rates vary between tutors and are typically ranged from $15 to $25 an hour. If you are a student with a disability, you can apply for government grant funding, which can be used for tutoring services.

For further information, please contact the Fred Smithers Centre at (902) 420-5452 or [email protected].
